Hello Loveland distance!

We've had a fantastic turnout at summer practices so far. Here is a snapshot of some important dates coming up:

Friday: Devil's Backbone at 7:00 a.m. (1725 Hidden Valley Dr., Loveland)...Meet at LHS at 6:40 if you need a ride. 

Saturday: Sierra's Race 5k in Loveland

Saturday 6/24:  35th annual Brush Rush 5k (make sure to contact a coach if you are interested in racing)

Check the June schedule we sent via email for further information on every upcoming run. Let us know if you have any questions or just need a schedule.

We would also like to give a friendly reminder to continue filling out mileage logs throughout the summer. If anyone needs access to the logs, contact one of the coaches.

We are excited about the ongoing growth of the Loveland distance crew. A number of athletes had significant personal best times this past school year in both cross country and track and look to build off that progress. Summer training is not only a crucial period for gaining fitness, but summer time also gives us an opportunity to become closer as a group. Running can be an individual pursuit at times, but cross country is also a team sport. We are stronger when we are united.
